Inside the tiled stove is a cast-iron insert which, thanks to modern combustion technology, allows for optimal regulation of the amount of heat you require. A major advantage of the tiled stove is its ability to heat several rooms simultaneously, such as adjoining rooms or those on the floor above. To make better use of the heat generated during combustion, a heat exchanger made of steel, cast iron or fireclay is additionally connected to the insert. A tiled stove utilises the principle of natural convection and releases the generated heat energy into the room via built-in ventilation grilles. This energy is further enhanced by the radiant heat from the heated tiled casing.
