Pellet-burning stoves

Freestanding pellet-burning stoves are modern heating appliances that use biofuel in the form of compressed wood pellets. Our range includes models that vary in output, design and level of automation, allowing the appliance to be tailored to different types of buildings and usage patterns. These stoves combine heating functionality with ease of use and high combustion efficiency.

What pellet-burning stoves do we offer?

The Lumar Fireplaces range includes freestanding pellet-burning stoves designed to heat rooms automatically and conveniently. The range comprises units of varied design and functionality, meaning they can be adapted to both simple single-room installations and more complex domestic heating systems.

Amongst others, air-heating stoves are available, which heat the room in which they are installed; many models are also equipped with a hot air distribution system (HADS). This solution allows heat to be distributed to neighbouring rooms, thereby increasing the unit’s effective range and ensuring even heating of the living space.

The range also includes water-jacketed stoves, which work in conjunction with a central heating system. In this case, the thermal energy from the pellet combustion process is transferred to water, which can then supply radiators or underfloor heating. This solution is designed for more comprehensive heating of the building.

What are the key features of pellet-burning stoves?

Pellet-burning stoves are distinguished primarily by their automatic combustion process. These appliances are fitted with fuel-feeding systems that precisely dispense pellets into the combustion chamber, enabling a stable temperature and high operational efficiency to be maintained. Many models also feature solutions that enhance user comfort, such as timers, room thermostats and remote controls. Additionally, the stoves may be fitted with blowers, which help to distribute heat evenly throughout the room.

A key feature of freestanding pellet stoves is their high combustion efficiency and low exhaust emissions, which result from the use of clean-burning technology and precise control of the operating process. As a result, pellet stoves are an economical solution that complies with current environmental standards.

Where can pellet-burning stoves be installed?

Freestanding pellet stoves can be installed in various types of living spaces, provided that the technical requirements for ventilation and flue gas extraction are met. They are most commonly installed in living rooms, lounge areas and open-plan spaces. The units require connection to a suitable flue system and a supply of air for the combustion process.
