KF-type chimney liner
Chimney liners are an extremely important component and also the main part of the chimney. Due to their constant and direct contact with flue gases, it is essential that they are both correctly manufactured and made from suitable materials. Thanks to their complete airtightness, they ensure the safe operation of the flue system. Installation involves correctly positioning the chimney liner inside an existing chimney, acting as a protective insert. This is one of many solutions that allow for the modernisation of an old chimney – not only will it provide additional protection for flue gas discharge, but it will also significantly reduce heating costs and ensure the functionality of the entire heating system, including the boiler.
Chimney liners are manufactured from acid-resistant steel, which, thanks to its properties, protects the liner and the entire chimney from the corrosive effects of acidic condensate produced during the combustion process. The low thermal inertia of the materials used, which allows the chimney to heat up quickly during cyclical boiler start-ups, increases the chimney draught and enhances the efficiency of the system.
